Our first contribution to the Joomla! community  is a component coupled with two plugins for joomla 1.5 native

UIajaxIM is an intent messenger for joomla1.5

Features:

• Users joomla! recognized by the chat tool
• user registration via the chat tool is not recognized by the site
• any registered user of the site can use the messaging tool
• messaging works the same type as yahoo or MSN messenger ie add a user to your contact list and chat
• UIajaxIM is based on Ajax technology so it preserves much bandwidth on your site
• Note: This tool is not compatible with the user community builder or JomSocial
